This unusual morning light that had reflected the blue sky over the mud on Tidal Restronguet Creek, caught my eye, and I just had to capture the essence of that onto canvas.

I love this walk, it's similar to somewhere you might see on the Med.

Beautiful Light shines through the leaves of the over hanging branches, creating shadow paintings of their own on the path ahead.

The beautiful colours in the wet sands are what inspired me to paint this view - pale pinks , soft lilacs and aqua marines.

When sitting under a tree at Greatwood quay opposite Mylor Harbour having a rest and a cup of coffee, i couldn't take my eyes off the "Dancing Light " shimmering and flickering off the water in the morning light.

This view was just beyond LELANT GOLF COURSE , the beautiful sand had a very soft powder pink hue to it, and stretched as far as the eye could see,  broken only by the dying back cow parsley and ferns and autumnal blackberries of the wonderful hedgerow.

This was one of the most challenging canvases i have ever done.

The photo i took was of the most beautiful tranquil rockpool, not a breath of wind, so technically i had to paint many layers of detail almost like a watercolour with out over painting it but still giving the illusion of a fi

This Jaw droppingly beautiful view is where the seals love to bask in the sunshine on the beautiful beach below, in the Spring the Cliffs are just carpeted with Primroses following on with Foxgloves in the Summer - a painters heaven!

This view blew me away, one canvas wasn't enough.

The Sand is just like sugar and the view just goes on forever in both directions, even on a dull day this area is absolutely stunning.

THE BEST TIME TO VISIT A CORNISH BEACH IN THE SUMMER IS............EARLY!

EVERYTHING IS SO PERFECT AND FRESH AND LONG INTERRUPTED VIEWS ARE ENDLESS.

This is a magical place down near Lands End called "Nanjizal"

There is a natural slit in the cliff that has a beautiful rockpool in the middle which is bathed in the light flooding through from the otherside, this was a real challenge to paint.

This was one of two photos i took early one morning the othe painting was Darling Buds of May but this was much more of a challenge as there were so many soft colours to pick out in the sky and shallow water and fine detail in distance, but thoroughly enjoyed painting it.
